Measuring sensitivity

Depending on bulk density and corn shape or on the level of fluidization of dust the accordant sensitivities are necessary for an exact detection of the bulk solids.

These measuring sensitivities are determined in our test labor, in order to adjust the right sensitivity for the requested application. Criteria like the frictional resistance of the rotary shaft seals or the torque of the return spring are of high importance for the ideal adjustment of rotary blade level indicators.

Design of measuring blade

What size and design of a rotary blade is needed in order to guarantee a failsafe detection of bulk solids with a bulk density of 0.25 Kg/l?

We detect the torque of a specific spherical bulk good with a density 0.40 Kg/l and use it as reference value. Based on this reference we can calculate the size of the needed rotary blade. In order to determine the suitable design, we do a lot of tests in our laboratory for bulk solids: covering of the measuring blade half, full and, submerged.

Annular gap flushing

How much air is needed in oder to prevent jamming of the annular lip-type seal?

With a testing equipment especially designed for the optimal adjustment of the annular gap flushing system the maximum air volume is exactly determind. Thus garanties that the suitable air volume avoids the jamming of the annular lip-type seal all the time, independent of the pressure of the connected flushing air.
