5. Legal bases for the collection and use of data

MOLLET will only collect and use your personal data if MOLLET is permitted to do so on the basis of a statutory provision or your consent. The legal basis for MOLLET processing data about you is that such processing is necessary for the purposes of:

  • MOLLET exercising its rights and performing its obligations in connection with any contract we make with you (GDPR Article 6 (1) (b)),
  • compliance with MOLLET’ legal obligations (GDPR Article 6 (1) (c)) or
  • legitimate interests pursued by MOLLET (GDPR Article 6 (1) (f)). Generally, the legitimate interest pursued by MOLLET in relation to our use of your personal data is the efficient performance or management of our business. Besides the legitimate interest pursued by MOLLET in relation to our use of your personal data during your visit on our website with the technical equipment used (no.  6.2, 8 and 9) is the improvement of the website and the user-friendly manner of it.

In several places the website uses so called cookies. They help making this website more user-friendly, more effective and safer. The Cookies used from our CMS Typo3 are so called "session Cookies", which means that they are deleted automatically after you left the website. 7. Processing of personal information when making contact via contact form on the website
7.1 If you contact MOLLET with questions via the contact form integrated on the website, MOLLET will save and use the personal information you provide (e.g. your e-mail address, possibly also your name, telephone number or address) in order to answer your questions. The legal basis for this is GDPR Article 6 (1) (f). 

7.2 If a contract or order is negotiated, or contracts are concluded and performed on the basis of such a contact, MOLLET will process any personal data collected via this contact for these further purposes. The legal basis for this is GDPR Article 6 (1) (b).


7.3 Furthermore, MOLLET will also use the postal address of your company and the name of a contact person provided when contacting us in order to send you interesting information about the products and services we offer by addressed direct mail. The legal basis for this is GDPR Article 6 (1) (f).


8. Google Analytics

8.1 The website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies stored on your computer, to allow the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will generally be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there.


8.2 The IP anonymization is activated on the website. That means, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states that are party to the European Economic Area Treaty. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services associated with the use of the website and the internet for the website operator.

9. YouTube
9.1 The website uses plugins from the Google-powered YouTube page. Site operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of the YouTube plug-in-enabled sites, you will be connected to the servers of YouTube. It tells the YouTube server which pages you’ve visited. MOLLET has no control over this data transfer. If you’re logged into your YouTube account, you will allow YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

10. Revocation of consent given and objection to data processing

10.2 If MOLLET base the processing of your personal data on the pursuit of our interests as provided for by law (e.g. GDPR Article 6 (1) (f)), you may object to the processing of your personal data. 11. Retention Periods
Unless indicated otherwise at the time of the collection of your personal data (e.g. within a form completed by you), we erase your personal data if the retention of that personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, or to comply with legal obligations (such as retention obligations under tax or commercial laws).
