The MOLOSsafe SFA-Q silo filling device is used to shut off and open the filling line during silo filling with a silo truck, thereby complying with the requirements of the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Raw Materials and Chemical Industry (BG RCI), which stipulates that self-acting shut-off valves must be installed at the inlet openings of silos to close the filling line in the event of overfilling or excessive inlet pressure. This filling fitting consists of a robust pinch valve with a weld-on flange and a hose coupling with an integrated limit switch or a swivelling lever limit switch.
