Level measurement involves measuring the fill level of bulk solids in silos or containers. Measuring devices from the MOLOSwave and MOLOSbob series convert these measurement results into an electronic signal that is fed into the control loop of the process control system or displayed using devices from the MOLOSvisu series for level visualization. There are various measurement technologies available for level measurement. These include, for example, guided radar. In this case, high-frequency radar signals are guided along a rod or steel cable. As soon as the media surface is reached, these waves are reflected and received by the sensor. The level is calculated based on the transit time of the waves and output as a measured value. All devices can also be supplied with the relevant ATEX approvals if required.
